Highlights from our whitish Christmas in
Buchs, Zurich 2003
Christmas 2003 was very special in many
senses. It was the first Christmas for Victoria who had been born less than two
weeks earlier. It was also the first Christmas we celebrated in our new house in
buchs. And finally we had the pleasure of having Nino, Bernardo and Ines
visiting us from Portugal, as well as auntie Sofia from Australia, and grandmas
Marta and Hedvig. Below are some of the highlights from the festivities.
Auntie Sofia arriving from Australia with the traditional 5 suitcases full of
stuff.
So when does that shabby-looking red man come and visit us?
Grandma Hedvig trying to convince Victoria to give the parents a "Silent
night..."
Somebody can't wait for the the festivities to begin...
Grandma Marta and Bernardo getting into the Christmas mood by racing cars on
Playstation.
Merry Christmas everybloody!!
Christmas, Nino, and Bernardo. What else can we say.
Grandma Hedvig doing her interpretation of "Hej tomtegubbar...".
Nino not knowing whether to cry or to laugh..
Grandma Marta helping Philip tear open his 132nd Christmas present.
Oh great! A pair of knitted socks! Again...
Grandma Hedvig showing off her new arctic socks.
Warning. Never leave your kids alone on Christmas morning without inspecting
their presents first.
